Blair Richardson

Blair's focus is efficient building systems and construction.

Blair Richardson joined Sparhawk Group in 2010. He has a strong background in construction, project management, building science and engineered solutions. Blair is a recent graduate of the University of Maine, a registered Maine EIT, and former president of UMaine ASHRAE chapter.

His experience in the construction industry makes him intimately familiar with building processes and industry practices. Past projects have included work on a multi-million dollar water treatment facility for the town of Portsmouth, NH, the new parking garage portion of the Force Protection Facilities Project at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for the DHS, and the design and fabrication of building components for multiple military installations.

Blair received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. While president of ASHRAE, Blair worked with a team of international researchers studying and testing hydrogen fuel cells.

He has a passion for building science, energy research and energy efficiency. Blair maintains his advanced open water scuba certification, was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America and is an avid outdoorsman.
