254 Unit High-Rise and Townhome Multifamily Complex

This site, located in Buffalo, NY, encompasses a combination of high-rise apartments and townhouses. Sparhawk Group led the site through New York’s Multi-Family Performance Program (MPP), an incentive program for large-scale property renovations. Among the energy conservation measures that were implemented were new boiler plant, new electric metering, window replacement, refrigerator replacement, temperature limiting thermostats and infiltration reduction.

This comprehensive project was part of a large scale redevelopment at the site. As such, we were able to incorporate deep energy efficiency measures that led to a substantial amount of energy savings. With the help of the MPP program and total site energy savings, the project quickly became cash positive and the comfort of residents increased dramatically.
